Acknowledging our responsibility in establishing a GMO-free food and feed production, BAG Ölmühle BetriebsgmbH set a clear sign when it adapted its extraction processes to European, GMO-free soybeans in 2011. This decision was taken against the background of the wish for an independent protein supply within Europe. Being Austria´s largest soybean oil mill, we have since then played an important role in providing consumers with non-genetically modified, regional goods.

Within a 24-hour shift schedule our team of highly motivated, quality-conscious employees guarantees the processing of European soybeans into premium soybean meal and oil. Given our local production facilities we are able to support and promote the domestic cultivation of soybeans and offer the local farmers reliable trading opportunities for their valuable field crop.
